Chairman Show Report 2004I suppose the biggest thank you this year has to go to the person who organised the weather. After a dreadful week of rain, wind and almost snow, we were blessed with a dry and reasonably warm day. The sounds of the rock 'n roll beat and the steel band reverberated around the ground. We were treated to excellent displays of dog agility, tae kwondo and dancing along with masses of entertainment from the various artistes. Punch and Judy, Animal Farm, face painting and Cookery for Kids kept the children well occupied, whilst the Horticultural Show and the Dog Show seem to attract more and more entries every year. We continue to enjoy the support of many businesses both in time and money and our delight is at the end of the show to hear that people have had a thoroughly enjoyable day, and in the process a substantial amount of money has been raised for the Playing Fields Association and the many charities who have stalls on the ground. What a good combination! Thank you to everyone for your support in whatever form that took and we look. Keyworth Show Chairman
