Held in the Marquee on Keyworth Playing Fields.
This year we were pleased to announce that as well as sponsorship from Keyworth Arts Association we were also being sponsored by Keyworth and District Gardening Association. Many classes had a theme in some way linked to gardening and we had lots of new classes.
There was a colouring class for children under six and we had a fantastic number of children entering .
Other new classes included:
- Most fragrant flower – one stem
- Fruity marmalade – recipe printed in the schedule
- ‘Bud to Bloom’ – two complimentary photographs
- the ‘Man in the Kitchen’ class will feature ‘Stilton Bread’
The Horticultural Show Committee wish to record their appreciation to the following businesses who have donated prizes. Prizes and trophies were awarded in the marquee at 4:00pm on Show Day.
