The Keyworth Show is traditionally
held annually on the second Saturday in July. It is sponsored by
the Keyworth Playing Fields Association, its aim
to raise money for capital projects of member sports clubs. It is
situated on the Keyworth Playing Fields, formerly known as the Rectory
Playing Fields.
The show is organised each year by the Show Committee, made up
of voluntary enthusiasts and member club representatives, whose
prime objective is to create a Family Fun Day attracting visitors
from the surrounding areas of south Nottinghamshire and north Leicestershire.
Once again we aim to improve on our previous efforts and make 2008 the best show yet! The Keyworth Show will be a fun filled family day full
of entertainments from the traditional dog show, fairground and falconry to circus performers, puppet shows and crafts for children. There will also be a variety of stalls from
arts and crafts to quality food and produce from around the East Midlands.
For the first time this year there will be no distance restrictions on the Horticultural Show, so plenty of competition from the surrounding area. Get your entry in early!
